Study Subject: Candidates should choose a master’s degree program, offered by UNIL. Excluding Master of Medicine, Master of Arts in Public Management and Policy, Master of Arts in Sciences and Practices of Education, Master of Law from the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne and Master of Law in Criminal Sciences, judiciary mention at University of Lausanne.

Eligibility:

•  Candidate must be a holder of a degree from a foreign university.

• The qualification held by the candidate must be equal to the UNIL Bachelor’s degree.

Target Audience: International students can apply for these UNIL Masters Grants.

Number of award: The University of Lausanne makes available around ten grants which are awarded on a competitive basis.

Duration of award: Awards are offered for a duration not exceeding the regulation minimum period of the program (according to the program, one-and-a-half years or two years.

What does it cover? The amount of the grant is CHF 1,600.- per month from 15 September to 15 July for a duration not exceeding the regulation minimum period of the program.

Selection Criteria: These grants are particularly for students who distinguished themselves in their university studies and who have difficulty meeting their financial needs for the duration of the Master’s.  However it is necessary that the candidates have to sufficient financial means to support themselves during the complementary studies.

Notification: The SASC will inform candidates of the decision taken by the UNIL in writing latest by the end of March.

How to Apply: Candidates will have to complete the “UNIL Master’s Grant” form and submit their application to the Office for socio-cultural affairs within the deadline. The application is examined by the University of Rectorate to determine whether the candidate is admissible.

Scholarship Deadline: Applications must be submitted to the Office for socio-cultural affairs before 15 December 2014.
